What if it were easier to see the big picture? What if we could visualize how social impact efforts are interconnected? This interactive project is an explorable map of the various categorization systems and social impact frameworks, overlaid on top of each other. Catamap enables interoperability at both the social and technical level by taking systems like the Sustainable Development Goals and the Doughnut Economics Sectors and showing how they are just different ways of slicing the same pie. By using art, space, and a mapping to the physical world, this visualization serves as an educational tool that can allow people to communicate and share information across groups, platforms, and cultures.
